Moksha is located opposite St. Peter’s Church, and during the summer it overlooks crowds of people enjoying the sunshine. Along with their section of outdoor seating, their indoor tables reflect the bustling energy that appeals to the incoming customers.

The cafe’s menu showcases the typical English brunch cuisine, as well as Middle Eastern-inspired dishes that have become a staple. Whether you are craving a full English breakfast with bacon, eggs, and hash browns; a gluten-free poke bowl served with tofu and quinoa; or something a bit different, like shakshuka, there is something for everyone.

Moksha offers a wide range of drinks, including lattes, matcha, smoothies, milkshakes, and soft drinks. And for those hot summer days, with your brunch, there are alcoholic beverages that will satiate your pub yearning heart. Oeuf is a small, lively café placed just a few doors down from the beach in Hove. This café is a beautiful place to be once the sun is shining, and during the summer months they open their garden for the public to sit and have a few beverages. With their generous portions and great prices, many customers leave feeling ready for their day on the seafront.

Compared to some of the other cafes listed above, it is on the pricier side. However, due to the size of their meals, it is definitely worth the money. Their specialities are frumpets, which are French toast battered crumpets, that come with varying flavours. They also serve a small menu for brunch, but they tend to stick with the general foods that everyone would find enjoyable. If you’re looking for a quiet day at the beach, Oeuf should definitely be a contender.
