A Guide To On The Beach Brighton

On the Beach is a popular music festival that takes place in Brighton across two weekends. This year’s festival will commence on July 18 to 20, 2025 and July 27 to 29, 2025.

The event will be at Brighton Beach, bringing music and seaside views together which is truly the best of both worlds. On the Beach offers a unique festival experience, different to other cities, with a beautiful sea to gaze at and a crisp, salty air to breathe in.

  • Friday, July 18 (2pm to 10.30pm) – Bonobo DJ set ft special guest Sammy Virji
  • Saturday, July 19 (1pm to 10.30pm) – ERIC PRYDZ, vintage culture
  • Sunday, July 20 (2pm to 10.30pm) – Bloc Party ft special guests Everything Everything, English Teacher, Mystery Jets, Liz Lawrence, Feet and Martial Arts
  • Wednesday, July 23 (4.30pm to 10pm) – The Human League ft special guest Marc Almond
  • Friday, July 25 – Hybrid Minds
  • Saturday, July 26 (1pm to 10.30pm) – Carl Cox, special vinyl only set
  • Sunday, July 27 (2pm to 10.30pm) – Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, The Cribs and more

For these events, last entry is at 6pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows. On Wednesday, July 23, last entry will be at 8pm. Please note, there is no re-entry into the event site if you leave early.

Age restrictions vary per event day, some are 16 and over but others are 18 and over, so be sure to bring a form of photo ID with you. Be sure to check the age restrictions before purchasing your tickets on the On The Beach website as no refunds will be given for incorrectly purchased tickets.

On the beach after parties

The fun doesn’t end when the festival is over because there’s plenty to see afterwards. On the Beach has announced the top after party spots. On Friday, July 18, Concorde 2 is a hosting an afterparty featuring Daniel Avery. On Saturday, July 19, Joy, Concorde 2 and Louder is hosting a Yotto Keeq Amyelee after party. Other after party spots include Volks club and Dreadnaught.

On The Beach is a cashless event and there are numerous food and drink stands available on site. There’s ice cream, beer, wine, spirits and vegan, vegetarian and gluten free meal options.
