Brighton City Singers is a choir that meet every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm. The group is led by an American composer and entertainer known as MJ.

This choir does not require auditioning and embraces all, offering a range of music such as Mozart, Abba, gospel, swing and musicals.

Brighton Swing Choir is a community based choir that is always welcoming bookings and new members. At this choir, you can sing, socialise and meet new people.

Soul of the City Choir is a great place to socialise, sing and make new friends. If you have never experienced a choir but want to see if it is a fit for you, Soul of the City offers a free taster session.

The Good Vibe Choir is a friendly pop choir based in Brighton and Lewes. No auditioning is required and the choir is backed by live guitar. There are three locations which are the Brighton choir group meeting on Wednesdays, Lewes choir meeting on Tuesdays, and Shoreham-by-sea on Mondays.

City of Stars Choir is an adult intermediate musical theatre choir. Expect a fun, welcoming environment with other musical theatre lovers.

Their Monday choir meet in the school hall at Middle Street Primary School from 6.15pm to 8.15pm. Their Tuesday choir meet in the piazza at BHASVIC in Hove and their Wednesday choir meet at St Mary’s Church in Kemptown.

Each 14 week term costs a total of £196.

Harmonessence is a fun, encouraging choir group that does not require experience, auditioning or the ability to read music. Simply join in and experience the wholesome nature of Harmonessence choir.

The choir group has end of term shows with a live band and is priced at £10 per session. Free taster sessions are available on the Harmonessence website, for those who wish to see if its a fit for them before committing.

We Bop Choir is an all-woman choir in Brighton. Expect a cappella arrangements of classic songs written by musical director, Rachel Myer. At this choir, you will be able to hone in on your singing skills, improve your vocal technique and performance ability.

We Bop will not only take you on a musical journey but it is also made up of women supporting each other in a welcoming environment. We Bop Choir meet on Wednesdays, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. For new members, each term is priced at £115.

Glow Choir is a non-auditioning, natural voice community choir for LGBTQIA+ people and allies. This choir prides itself on inclusivity and its welcoming atmosphere to all visitors. Glow Choir aims to make people feel empowered through song and promotes queer joy.

The Tone Rangers Choir is a folk and pop choir located in Saltdean and Portslade. Everyone is welcome to join regardless of experience level. The Saltdean choir takes place on Mondays, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St Martins Church Hall. The Portslade choir meet on Wednesdays, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at South Portslade Community Centre.

Expect musical theatre, pop and much more at The Tone Rangers choir. Most songs are performed a cappella with the occasional accompaniment of a guitar or ukulele.
