Brighton Dome Comedy Festival Returns This October

Brighton is gearing up for a laughter-filled October as the Brighton Dome Comedy Festival returns with an extended nine-day run from 17 to 26 October. After the success of its debut last year, the festival is back across all three of Brighton Dome’s venues with an expanded programme of standup, improv, live podcasts, and family-friendly shows.

A highlight of the festival is Live at Brighton Dome, the flagship showcase bringing together big names and rising stars in one unforgettable night on 18 October. Its clean comedy sibling, Live at Brighton Dome BLEEPED, caters to families and fans of swear-free humour on 25 October in the Corn Exchange.

This year’s stellar line-up includes Brighton’s own Jen Brister with her new show Reactive, Taskmaster star Babatunde Aléshé, Ireland’s Joanne McNally with her no-holds-barred set Pinotphile, and ventriloquist sensation Nina Conti. Comedy podcast favourites Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis go live with Wolf & Owl, while Paul Merton and Suki Webster bring their improv magic to the final night.

Rosie Crane, Comedy Producer at Brighton Dome, said: “We are super proud of this line-up and of how Brighton Dome Comedy Festival has grown since its first year. We have hand-picked some of the most exciting comedy talent around for this year’s Festival, from huge stars to the funniest shows you haven’t discovered yet. Hop from room to room, take advantage of some amazing ticket offers and immerse yourself in nine days of pure hysterical joy.”

With all performances live captioned, the festival reinforces Brighton Dome’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion. More acts, including daytime family shows, will be announced soon.
