Award-winning Brighton comedy hotspot Komedia is turning up the heat this July, mixing top-notch stand-up with mouth-watering local food. Every Friday throughout the month, audiences can enjoy the usual laughs at Komedia Comedy Club—plus a rotating series of pop-up kitchens from much-loved local eateries.
Recently crowned Best Comedy Venue (South & East) at the 2025 Chortle Awards, Komedia has long been the heart of live comedy in Brighton. Their weekly Friday and Saturday comedy nights offer a lively 2.5-hour showcase of three top comedians and a charismatic MC, with lineups this July featuring the likes of Gbemi Oladipo, Tim Renkow, Thomas Green, Finlay Christie, Brennan Reece, Bethany Black, and many more.

But it’s not just the jokes on the menu this month. Starting Friday July 4, Komedia will welcome Foodilic, the city’s go-to for vibrant and healthy meals. Expect a globe-trotting menu of Thai chicken, Moussaka, and savoury Böreks, among other wholesome delights.
On July 11 and 18, it’s the turn of Nostos, the modern Greek gem from Hove, bringing a taste of the Mediterranean with both iconic and lesser-known dishes from across Greece.

The pop-up finale on July 25 remains under wraps for now, but Komedia promises something extra special for the closing night of this culinary-comedy fusion.
Food is served from 7.30pm to 9pm each Friday night show, alongside the usual full lineup of stand-up in Komedia’s Basement space. Tickets start at £13 per person, with food available to purchase on the night.
Looking for laughs, good vibes, and even better food? Komedia Comedy Club this July might just be Brighton’s tastiest night out.
