The Brighton Legal Walk has raised an impressive £5,500 this year, with over 130 enthusiastic participants, including local MP Bella Sankey, joining in the effort.
Taking place on Wednesday, September 11th, the event commenced with a poignant address by Brighton’s Mayor, Mohammed Asaduzzaman, who highlighted the crucial role of timely legal advice as a fundamental human right.
The Brighton Legal Walk continues to grow in significance each year, becoming a cornerstone event in the city. The funds raised are essential for sustaining these vital local legal support services and benefitting the wider Brighton & Hove community.
Spanning a scenic 10km route along Brighton’s stunning seafront and through its renowned landmarks, the walk saw a diverse group of legal professionals, community members, and supporters come together to raise funds for BHT Sussex, Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove, Possability People, and Money Advice Plus. These organizations offer essential free legal guidance to individuals and families in need across the city.
