Brighton’s Festival of Racing
At this festival, expect three days of racing and music in a friendly environment filled with the thrill of competition. On day one, you’ll get to experience the exciting Brighton Mile Challenge as well as the Brighton Sprint Series.
If you are someone that enjoys concerts, this racecourse offers the best of both worlds with entertainment as well as live music. The festival will consist of live DJs, including Fatboy Slim and others. Experience The Top Bananas, a band performing on stilts, guaranteed to be a fascinating addition to a day of horse racing fun.
Brighton Racecourse is the perfect place for a family outing, where kids can enter the festival for free. Kids can enjoy numerous beach-themed games such as hook-a-duck, hoopla, coconut shy and others. There are sensory spaces available, making the racecourse accessible to everyone.
For those travelling, there will be coaches available from Brighton Station to the racecourse on all three days of the festival. These coaches will be running every 30 minutes, from 12pm to 6pm.
Refreshments available at the festival
During the three days of the festival, Brighton Racecourse will be offering discounted drinks for the first hour after opening. Those on a budget can benefit from an incredible 50% off on soft drinks, lager, cider, bitter and Guinness. Your first pint could be £3.25, if you get there early!
There are private huts available with drinks, light snacks and deck chair seating. For those travelling with family or a group of friends, these huts offer great views of the track in a more secluded setting.
Tide Club is the official afterparty spot for the Brighton Festival of Racing and if you show your race ticket at the bar, you can get your first drink for free.

brighton car boot sale

Every Sunday, Brighton Racecourse hosts a car boot sale. The boot sale is open to buyers from 10.30am to 4pm. Buyers must use the main entrance on Manor Hill and there is an 80p entrance fee, while children go free.
Sellers can arrive from 7.30am and pay £10 with plenty of room to set up. There is food, drink and bathroom facilities available. Make sure you grab a bite after a long day of buying or selling. The boot sale provides sandwiches, ice creams, crepes, hot and cold drinks. If you want to get first look at all the items available to buy, early passes are available for £2.50, providing you with an earlier entry from 8.30am.

Summer Afternoon racing

Summer Afternoon racing will take place on July 1. Gates will open at 12:40pm and the first race will take place at 2.40pm. The last race will be at 5.15pm, with a total of six races available.
Children 17 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Hospitality and restaurant packages are available:
- Graze and Gallop: Includes a private table, glass of prosecco, beer, house wine or soft drink on arrival and a seasonal grazing menu. Priced at £69 per person.
- Silks Restaurant: Includes a private table, three course menu, bar and betting. Priced at £89 per person.
- Private Box: With options for 14-24 guests, 25-48 guests or 40-60 guests. Priced at £125 per person, a private box is perfect for corporate events.
Brighton Racecourse has numerous racing events available during the hot summer weeks to come, with key events and festivals taking place between July and August.
