If exercise isn’t your thing, then there’s a slew of buses and bus routes that can get you anywhere around Brighton and its various seaside neighbours; Portslade, Eastbourne, New Haven, and even Tunbridge Wells. You can get a 24hour network Saver, valid on any route within East Sussex, for £5.50, making it the best choice money wise for longer distance travel, or for multiple journeys.
In summary, Brighton does have Uber, but the cheaper, greener options are going by bus or Bike. The local taxi services are cheaper for getting around Brighton. I would recommend Uber if you need to go beyond the confines of Brighton and there is no feasible bus alternative.
