On Thursday July 10, we visited the famous Tusk Club settled in the basement of The Walrus to watch Felix and Friends perform their galactic cabaret bonanza.
Settled into the intimate venue with a few pints of wine and a drag dream, what was to follow can only be described to be a chaotic evening etched in our memory for weeks to come; a truly unforgettable affair of class comedy, fierce vocals and a sense of true queer community amongst us all from the very beginning of the night and beyond far into the galaxy.

Felix and Friends is a show orchestrated by Felix Le Freak, winner of Drag Idol UK, bringing together a plethora of artists to perform in this fabulous gala of drag revue.
Each act stood out, dominating the stage as if they were their own headliner; with an array of different performers showcased on every run of the cabaret to spice things up.
With Felix hosting and serenading the basement throughout the rich night of performance, Brighton Drag legend Daphne kicked off us off with a gag-worthy lip sync moment with a perfect fuse of a comedic flare. What followed was the brilliantly quick and dry comedy sets delivered by Sam See and Oro Rose, exploring sexuality and the blessings and curses of the dating pool.

Between all this, Peter Pearl, the other half of the duo Pearl and Dean, graced us with their presence the moment we descended into The Tusk Club; with a cheeky wink and a stamp on the wrist, Peter commanded the room with flirty banter and unforgettable vibes you ought to see for yourself.
We earnestly left The Tusk Club that evening on a buzz. Felix and Friends delivered an unforgettable night of glamour so hard to replicate or explain. A trip was promised, and Felix took us on an adventure.
