Europe’s largest outdoor jazz festival is back this summer as Love Supreme Jazz Festival returns to the stunning grounds of Glynde Place in East Sussex from Friday July 4 to Sunday July 6 2025. Celebrating its twelfth edition, the festival continues to cement its reputation as a major highlight in the UK’s cultural calendar, bringing together a boundary-pushing mix of jazz, soul, funk, and R&B.
This year’s line-up features some of the biggest names in global music, including UK-exclusive performances from two giants of the genre: seven-time Grammy winner Jacob Collier, who headlines Saturday night, and neo-soul icon Maxwell, making a triumphant return to the UK stage after nine years with a Sunday night headline set.
Also making their only UK summer appearance of 2025 are legendary Philadelphia hip-hop collective The Roots, whose genre-bending live show promises to be a festival highlight.
Joining them on the bill are: Nile Rodgers & CHIC, guaranteed to bring disco classics and timeless grooves, Smokey Robinson, a Motown legend with a catalogue of soul staples, En Vogue, pioneers of ‘90s R&B, Thee Sacred Souls, rising stars of modern soul, Branford Marsalis Quartet, led by the iconic jazz saxophonist, Stanley Clarke, jazz fusion bass virtuoso, Arooj Aftab, known for her haunting blend of classical and contemporary, Durand Jones & The Indications, War, Sampa The Great, and many more.
The 2025 festival also champions the richness of the UK’s contemporary jazz and soul scene, with appearances from homegrown talent including corto.alto, Neil Cowley Trio, Sasha Keable, MRCY, Natalie Williams Soul Family, Jay Prince, Daniel Casimir Big Band, Amy Gadiaga and more
Beyond the music, Love Supreme offers a full weekend experience with: w Wellness and Yoga Area for relaxation and rejuvenation, a Family and Children’s Area to keep little ones entertained, The Jazz Lounge, hosting artist talks, panels, interviews and film screenings, The Blue In Green Stage, nestled in the woods and featuring late-night DJ sets and live acts and an expanded Bands & Voices programme, offering spoken word, cabaret and more.
