Brighton seafront is set to host a landmark live music moment this summer, as electronic music pioneer Moby is announced as the final headliner for On The Beach Festival 2026.

Brighton Events To Look Forward To In 2026

The multi-Grammy-nominated artist will perform live with a full band on Brighton Beach on Sunday July 26, marking both the closing day of the seven-show festival and Moby’s long-awaited return to the city after more than 25 years.

With over 20 million albums sold worldwide, Moby is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern electronic music. His Brighton appearance comes as part of a limited 20-date world tour in 2026, following his acclaimed return to live performance in 2024 celebrating the 25th anniversary of his seminal album Play. The Brighton date is expected to be one of the most significant stops on that tour.

Tickets will be available via presale from 10am on Tuesday, January 20, with general sale opening at 10am on Wednesday, January 21. Fans can sign up for presale access and find full ticket details at moby-brighton.com.

Now entering its sixth year, On The Beach Festival has quickly become a standout fixture on the UK’s festival circuit. Since debuting on Brighton seafront in 2021, it has hosted a string of high-profile, often sold-out shows from artists including Fatboy Slim, Bicep, Carl Cox, Underworld, Chase & Status, Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Libertines, Bloc Party and The Kooks.

The 2026 programme is already shaping up to be one of its biggest yet. Fatboy Slim’s three announced shows sold out during presale, while The Maccabees have also been confirmed, with two further festival days still to be revealed.

Festival organisers say Moby’s closing-night performance promises a truly special finale: a once-in-a-generation artist, an open-air seaside setting, and a show expected to resonate long after the final notes fade across the shoreline.

Moby, born Richard Melville Hall in New York City, began his musical journey in punk and classical music before releasing his breakthrough single Go in 1991. Alongside his own extensive catalogue, he has produced and remixed artists ranging from David Bowie and Public Enemy to Daft Punk and Ozzy Osbourne, while also working extensively in film, television and non-profit advocacy.

The Brighton Beach show forms part of On The Beach Festival 2026. More information about the festival can be found at onthebeachbrighton.com.
