Their sister companies, which include Burnt Orange, Tutto, and The Salt Room, hold similar values of simplicity and cooking over fire. The Coal Shed primarily focuses on fresh salads to charcoal-roasted vegetables, and the best seafood and beef the UK has to offer.

Established in 2011, it has garnered acclaim from publications like The Telegraph and The Guardian. The Coal Shed features a chic industrial aesthetic inspired by NYC brasseries, a standalone cocktail bar, and three private dining rooms.

The standalone cocktail bar, reserved for walk-ins, is the perfect place to visit after exploring The Lanes. It is cosy, dimly lit and classy. Open from noon until late, the cocktail menu has expertly crafted cocktails to suit everyone’s taste buds. The menu’s inspiration is pulled from brasseries in New York and London, embedding the city-feel into a vibrant seaside. The bar also offers a unique bar food menu, featuring items such as the Reuben Sandwich, Kimchi Grilled Cheese, and the Steakhouse Burger.
