Hailing from Limerick, Kingfishr, Eddie Keogh, Eoin “Fitz” Fitzgibbon, and Eoghan “McGoo” McGrath, have quickly emerged as one of Ireland’s most exciting new acts. Formed during lockdown, the trio are known for their soaring soundscapes and emotive, anthemic songs. Their breakout track “Killeagh”, a tribute to a local hurling club, spent 18 weeks in the Irish Top 10 and has gone four times platinum. Fans can expect an unforgettable night as Kingfishr return to The Great Escape stage. Tickets for the Spotlight Show are on sale now.

In addition to Kingfishr, The Great Escape has unveiled the first fifty acts of its 2026 line-up, highlighting the most promising new music from across the globe. The list features Manchester indie group Westside Cowboy, alt-R&B artist Ngaiire, performance poet Sophia Thakur, Canadian psych-rockers Meltt and Scottish soul-pop songwriter Becky Sikasa, recently named BBC Radio Scotland’s Scottish Act of the Year 2025.
