What’s On At Theatre Royal Brighton This Christmas

The Theatre Royal Brighton is welcoming the festive season with a sparkling Winter programme packed with award-winning theatre, glittering musicals, classic drama, world-class dance and opera, and heartwarming family shows. Following an autumn of sell-out productions and touring hits, the theatre has launched its brand-new Winter What’s On Guide, promising a Christmas filled with unforgettable live entertainment.

This year’s line-up features Olivier Award-winning musicals, world premieres, immersive festive experiences, and star-studded casts, with acclaimed performers including Carrie Hope Fletcher, Kevin Clifton, Adèle Anderson, Kym Marsh, Lisa Faulkner, Daniel Casey, Lee Mead, Kara Tointon, Mischa Barton and more.

Theatre Royal Brighton’s popular Creative Learning programme also returns, offering a new season of workshops, tours and eventsm including the magical, immersive festive show Once Upon a Whispering Wood.

And for a pre-show treat, The Colonnade Bar has unveiled a brand-new Winter Cocktail Menu, featuring highlights like the warming Ye Ole Fashioned and the indulgent Espresso Jingle-tini. ATG+ members can enjoy 10% off throughout the season.

Wednesday, December 17 – Saturday, January 3: The multi Olivier Award-winning musical celebrating the music of The Kinks brings three exhilarating weeks of rock ’n’ roll to Brighton this Christmas. Expect iconic hits, irresistible storytelling and festive feel-good energy.

Single White Female

Coming in the New Year and opening in January is the World Premiere of Single White Female. Kym Marsh and Lisa Faulkner star in this brand-new, razor-sharp psychological thriller, launching in Brighton before touring the UK. Friday, January 9 to Saturday, January 17.

Macbeth

Following its acclaimed run, Out of Chaos’ inventive two-handed adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy returns for a strictly limited engagement, praised as “24-carat” by The Guardian. Monday, January 19 to Tuesday, January 20.

Opera International Kyiv brings two of the world’s most beloved operas to Brighton’s stage, complete with full orchestra and internationally acclaimed soloists.
