Written by author and broadcaster Rebecca Reid, this modern take on the suspense-filled story updates the original tale for the digital age. Exploring themes of ambition, obsession and loneliness in a hyper-connected world, Single White Female promises gripping drama laced with dark humour and psychological twists.

The plot follows Allie, a recently divorced mother juggling single parenthood and the launch of a tech start-up. When she advertises for a lodger, the seemingly perfect Hedy offers her a much-needed lifeline. But as their lives become more entangled, the lines between friendship, identity and control start to dangerously blur.

Kym Marsh said: “I am so excited to be bringing this brilliant, brand new and thrilling play to theatres across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I remember being totally gripped by the movie when I first saw it in the cinema and could never have imagined back then that I’d be starring in the world premiere of its life on stage. Get ready to be thrilled, shocked and entertained – and watch out for those stiletto heels!”

The show will be directed by Gordon Greenberg, whose previous credits include Heart of Rock and Roll (Broadway), Guys & Dolls (West End) and The Baker’s Wife (Menier Chocolate Factory, NYC). With Greenberg at the helm and the creative team behind the hit stage version of The Girl on the Train, audiences can expect a slick, suspenseful and emotionally charged production.
