The University of Brighton’s Graduate Show is now open, offering an exciting showcase of final-year work from students across a diverse range of creative disciplines — from art and design to media, fashion, photography, and more.

Running until June 8 at the University’s City campus in central Brighton, the exhibition is a celebration of emerging talent and bold ideas, inviting the public to explore the creativity of the next generation of artists, makers, and storytellers.
Spanning cutting-edge digital installations and traditional craftsmanship, the show highlights the university’s commitment to both innovation and hands-on creative practice. This year’s participants represent a wide variety of courses, including Animation, Games Art and Design, Film, Photography, Fine Art, Graphic Design, and Fashion.
Standout Student Work
The Graduate Show features a playful, powerful, and thought-provoking mix of final projects. Highlights include quirky sandwich stations, sustainable furniture made from scaffolding, and experimental sound systems designed with the environment in mind.
One standout exhibitor is Arianna Ebanks, an illustrator whose immersive, ocean-inspired visuals merge her background in marine science with a passion for storytelling. Her striking illustrations tackle ecological themes like pollution and marine biodiversity. Ebanks, who will begin her MA at the Royal College of Art this autumn, says Brighton has felt like “a home away from home – a place where I have felt such a strong sense of community.”
Also making waves is painter Ross Borton, whose emotionally charged, large-scale works reflect his personal journey with a late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. Borton, who joined the Fine Art Painting BA via Clearing, plans to launch accessible studio spaces for emerging artists in Brighton following graduation.

A Season of Creativity
The Graduate Show is the first of three major exhibitions taking place at the University of Brighton this summer. Next up is the Architecture and Design End of Year Show, running June 7 to 13, which showcases innovative thinking in architecture, sustainable design, and interiors. The season concludes with the MA Show from July 5 to 12, spotlighting the work of postgraduate students.
All exhibitions are free and open to the public, offering a unique window into the ideas, identities, and futures being shaped in Brighton’s creative classrooms and studios.
