Wahaca is turning Britain’s famously fickle summer into a reason to celebrate, with a new seasonal campaign that makes the most of whatever the skies throw our way. Launched this week and running throughout the summer, Wahaca The Weather is a playful promotion that rewards diners based on daily weather conditions.

Whether you’re sheltering from a sudden downpour or basking in a long-awaited heatwave, Wahaca has created a set of tasty incentives to match the mood – and the weather.
When the rain rolls in, diners can enjoy 50% off Wahaca’s vibrant Sunshine Bowl – a fresh, wholesome salad packed with the bright, zesty flavours of Mexico, designed to lift spirits and bring a little sunshine to your plate.
And when the mercury rises? If the temperature hits 28°C or higher, Wahaca will treat guests to a free freshly-shaken margarita. Choose from classic, picante, passion fruit or raspberry, and raise a glass to the sun.
Wahaca co-founder Mark Selby said: “A British summer can be famously unpredictable but we thought we could have some fun and make the best of it. Whether you’re dodging raindrops or basking in a heatwave, we want to bring a little extra joy to your day with bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and some rays of Mexican sunshine.”
The rewards will be updated daily in line with local weather reports, and are available at Wahaca restaurants across the UK including Brighton. So whether you’re popping in for lunch during a grey drizzle or sipping cocktails on a blazing evening, Wahaca is here to brighten your day – come rain or shine.
And according to the forecast, both treats could be on the table this week. Expect slow-clearing showers early on making it prime time for a half-price Sunshine Bowl. But by midweek, a high-pressure system looks set to bring warmer, sunnier conditions – and with them, the promise of free margaritas.
