This November as the festive season approaches, Wagner Hall located in central Brighton will be hosting a free-entry Christmas Maker Fair to celebrate local creativity. Paper Daisy will work hard to transform the hall into a haven of artisanal treasures, treats, and holiday cheer on the weekend of Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of November from 11 am-4 pm.
With over 80 local makers, artists, and designers, the event is the perfect opportunity for talented individuals to showcase their diverse range of handmade items, from unique gifts to art, fashion, and delicious seasonal treats. The one-of-a-kind gifts, decorations and more can be found both inside and outside Wagner Hall. Make sure to have a chat with the artists about their craft, their inspirations, and the stories woven into each piece.
Don’t forget that by purchasing from these makers, you not only acquire a unique item but also help support them and contribute to the thriving artistic community that makes Brighton unique. A range of products will be available to suit gifts & purchases for all ages & all budgets.
In the Outside Fig Tree Courtyard, you will find even more makers as well as street food from Aunty Bunny’s hut serving up a fusion of Caribbean & Spanish flavours. What’s more, you can indulge in the festive atmosphere with a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate, accompanied by seasonal home-baked treats.
The pop-up deli cafe will be hosted by local baker Seashore Bakes, offering cakes, sweet treats and savoury lunchtime snacks – and of course coffees and the Ultimate Hot Chocolate. This bakery was established in 2017 and they are based in Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex offering delivery across all of Sussex. All goods are handmade with high-quality ingredients.
For those seeking a more hands-on experience, the Christmas Wreath workshop run by Bunches of Sussex in a winter wonderland setting is a must-attend. Book your spot in advance (£44 per person with a free complimentary hot drink included with the ticket) to craft your own festive masterpiece – a perfect addition to your holiday decor. This workshop will be led by a specialist florist and is open to all ages and abilities.
The Christmas Maker Fair In Brighton is a child-friendly event. Free kids’ goodie bags will be provided at this event and children will get the chance to take photos with everyone’s favourite snowman. Whether you have children or not, if you’re looking for something to do in Brighton, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
