However, these have a little je ne sais quoi, which very roughly translates to; these cottages all have hot tubs. Making this staycation a little bit sweeter. If exploring is more your thing though, the historic town of Arundel is only 2 miles away. With a multitude of antique shops and tea rooms, a must-see is Arundel Castle.

Choller Lake Lodges – Primrose Cabin

The nearby lake mentioned earlier is also available for avid anglers with Carp, Pench, Tench, Rudd, and Roach inhabiting the beautiful landscape. In short, bring your friends, families, and pets to enjoy this hidden gem.

Filbert Pod

For those looking for the most Instagramable, cottage-core lodge you’ll find it at the Filbert Pod. This cute, cozy lodge is teeming with character and looks like it came straight out of a painting. Managed by Skyes Holiday Cottage, an independent holiday rental service, this Arundel-located pod is the perfect place to go when you want to switch off for a weekend. With space for 2 guests, this site is great for couples. If you manage to get out of the hot tub there are a number of tourist attractions and things to do. A popular space for both new and veteran cyclists, this location offers a number of walks guests can take. Filbert Pod is also 18km from Goodwood House, a quintessential English country house that is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Richmond, and 16km from Goodwood Racecourse for avid horse-racing fans.

This holiday home sits 21km from Glyndebourne Opera House, one of the most celebrated opera houses in the world, and 25km from the AMEX Stadium, the home of the Brighton & Hove Albion football team. Don’t be fooled by its exterior, though it may look like a bus on the outside, this place couldn’t be further from what you see on your commute.
