  1. What an awesome place! Very natty inside with an eclectic mix of Mexican decor. Cozy and intimate (some tables maybe a little too close). The menu is thoughtful with good descriptions for those not experienced with Mexican food, there’s not too much on it to confuse you, but there is the specials board which included a fantastic locally caught mackerel dish the day I went.
The food tastes freshly prepared and full of zingy flavours. There is spice and heat but in a controlled way.
The drinks menu has a selection of cocktails that are really well priced at £4.50 upwards. The portion sizes are good which make the cost of La Choza very competitive.
You cannot book so be prepared to wait at this popular North Laines eatery!
