The Hope and Ruin, Brighton is the refit/teardown of the much loved Hope on Queens Road. The venue’s look is inspired by Eastern European bars which are frequently cobbled together out of reclaimed spaces using anything the owners can get hold of and in that theme an ingenious use of found objects makes the bar look like nothing you’ve seen before! The spacious live music venue upstairs plays host to a variety of bands and you can expect DJs at the weekend and acoustic evenings to boot and as for food, the pub’s menu is choc full of interesting dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options.
