Dos Sombreros in Brighton is a lively Mexican restaurant that offers a Tex-Mex twist on traditional Mexican cuisine. Located in the heart of the bustling Lanes in Brighton, Dos Sombreros has been serving up a fusion of flavours since its opening in 2012. Dos Sombreros caters to both romantic dinners for two and lively gatherings with large groups.

They offer a “Day of the Dead” themed tequila and cocktail bar on the third floor, featuring original artwork by Jony Daga. This space is ideal for enjoying a private party or participating in tequila tastings and cocktail classes.

Food is cooked to order so there may be a wait. They have a main meal and lunch menu (the lunch menu is served between 12 pm and 3 pm from Sunday to Friday and is a set menu with two courses for £9.50 pp) which feature dishes like nachos, salads, burritos and chillis.

In addition to the delectable main courses which include delicious Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes, Dos Sombreros offers a tempting selection of desserts, including brownies, churros, and puddings, along with a variety of beverages such as chocolate frappes, iced teas, and juices.

With large portions and a Mexican vibe, what more could you want from a restaurant? If that’s not enough, they offer 2-for-1 cocktails during happy hour between 5 – 7 pm from Sunday to Thursday. On Tuesdays, they also have a 2-for-1 deal on especialdades. The restaurant is open every day from 12 pm until 10 pm (and until 10:30 pm on Friday and Saturday).
