A Star-Studded Culinary Experience: foodies Festival

Dubbed “Gastro-Glastonbury,” the festival boasts live cooking demonstrations from TV personalities and culinary masters. MasterChef champions, Great British Bake Off favourites, and Great British Menu winners will take to the stage, showcasing their signature dishes and sharing culinary secrets.

You can expect MasterChef champion Tom Rhodes, MasterChef: The Professionals champion Alex Webb, Great British Menu winner Michael Bremner, and many more. These renowned chefs will be joined by some of Sussex’s most celebrated talents, including Michelin-starred and multi-award-winning chefs from top restaurants across the region.

More Than Just Food

Foodies Festival is more than just celebrity chefs and gourmet dishes. The festival offers a jam-packed schedule of activities and entertainment for everyone including interactive live theatres where you can watch cooking demonstrations, learn new baking techniques, and discover the secrets of expert cake decorators in the dedicated Chefs Theatre, Cake & Desserts Theatre, and Kids Cookery School.

For the adults, drinks masterclasses will be available where you can master the art of cocktail creation, expand your wine knowledge, or delve into the world of craft beers and ciders – all under the guidance of BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 drinks experts.

If you get hungry, there will be plenty of food so why not explore the latest food trends, discover unique ingredients, and support local producers at the bustling Shopping Village and Artisan Market. On top of this, make sure to visit the feasting tent where you can choose from a mouthwatering selection of street food delicacies from every corner of the world.

With all the events on offer, Foodies Festival caters to the whole family with exciting activities and entertainment beyond the food. Witness thrilling TV Chef battles, enjoy live music performances on the main stage, or take part in the legendary Chilli Eating Competition (featuring the current world champion, no less!).

Fire Pit Stage demonstrations, cooking schools with experts, a Silent Disco, a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, fairground rides, walkabout performers, and much more promise endless entertainment for children and adults alike.
