The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink in Brighton will be open for ice skating from the 28th of October 2023 until the 7th of 2024 and is the perfect thing to do in Brighton for skaters of all ages. You may be wondering what makes this Ice Rink so special. Not only has it been a popular festive attraction in Brighton since 2010 it is also powered exclusively by renewable energy and what’s more, it’s a great experience to take part in during the next few months.
Ice Skating Experience At the ice rink in Brighton
For those interested in hitting the ice, the Ice Rink provides a beautifully lit area. The main rink, is perfect for confident skaters, with its smooth ice, while the beginners’ rink, offering penguin skate aids, ensures a safe space for all young ones to build their skating skills.
It is advised that you arrive 20 minutes before your session to ensure a timely start. Latecomers will be admitted but may experience a shortened 45-minute session. Lockers are available for £1 (non-refundable) and unattended bags will be removed to ensure safety.
Tickets start at £12 for full-price admission (aged 12 and over) and £9 for juniors (under 12). Skating sessions run from 10 am -10 pm daily. Throughout the month of November 2023, the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink will be running a lunchtime skating deal for just £6. The offer is valid on all Monday – Thursday dates in November across 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm skating sessions.
Spectating is entirely free of charge and can be done from the rinkside Bar and kitchen or the outdoor spectator areas. The Bar & Kitchen is open daily from 9:30 am until late and offers a selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolates, beer, mulled wine, cakes, pastries and snacks. It’s the perfect spot for a Christmas date or a meeting with friends and family.
