The drinking culture in the UK is massive and when people go on trips to cities in the UK they want to find places to drink but we understand that not everyone feels this way. Some people don’t like drinking or don’t want to drink but still want to get away, and Brighton is a great place for this. With the iconic piers and beautiful views, we will give you the ultimate guide to an alcohol-free trip to Brighton.

Football

Football is the biggest sport in the world and English football is the pinnacle of it. Being in the Premier League is a massive privilege and being able to watch a Premier League match is an honour in itself. Brighton and Hove Albion are one of the best teams in the world and they play some of the best football.

Having a Premier League game on the day you come to Brighton should make it the top of your priorities. You can watch some high-quality football and feel the Premier League atmosphere. If you enjoy a drink at the football and want to go out afterwards, Brighton still does offer a good amount of clubs and bars for you to go to.

Casino

With the gambling culture that surrounds Brighton, it would be unfair of us to not suggest a casino night out. Going to the casino is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Brighton and a lot of the city’s money is from that. Brighton is filled with casinos and you have an array of options to choose from.

If you wanted to play roulette and slots you could go to Grosvenor Casino, if you just wanted to do online slots we suggest using Fruity Slots as your go-to resource for the slots with no wagering requirements as these types of games are a great alternative to playing in a physical casino. The biggest casino in the area is Rendezvous Casino, the casino is located near Waterside Restaurant so you can eat very close to the casino and enjoy the views. The casino is also open 24 hours a day so you can go anytime you like.

The Iconic Pier

You cannot go to Brighton without visiting the stunning Pier, it is arguably the most well-known Pier in the South of England.

Visiting Brighton in the summer and walking around the pier is a must-do for anyone. However, It is a very busy area but you can get some chips or some rock and go for a stroll and maybe try the famous fairground rides. Even with how busy it is, it is still a great day out.

The Lanes

One of the coolest shopping areas in Brighton, the lanes are famous for having around 400 shops and restaurants in a small and dense area of the city. You can go to the lanes and be there for hours window shopping or actually shopping and even get some food for your troubles. A nice long shopping at the lanes and then going to The Marine Tavern Pub for some pub grub is a great day out.

Brighton Pride

This one is very dependent on the time of year you are going, if you are going near the end of August you can go to Pride and celebrate the inclusivity they celebrate. It is one of the biggest Pride festivals in the UK and it is a very fun thing to do. With great live music and people, it is a must-see event.

The Seven Sisters

The Seven Sisters is a lovely coastline that is situated about 40 minutes from the centre of Brighton. It is a perfect break from the city life that people may want and with the beautiful views and the lovely fresh air, it is a great pitstop on your trip.

Summary

Overall, we believe that Brighton is a great day of fun, there is an endless amount of things you can do and you don’t need to drink to have a good time, like some other places in the UK. We hope you visit Brighton and join an exciting and growing city and hopefully visit more than once.
