Founded by the owner of Redroaster, Michelin Star-awarded Matt Gillan, the popular brunch spot is transformed into Lucky Khao from 7 pm every day. Opened in 2019, this restaurant offers authentic Northern Thai cuisine. If you’re looking for a place that will transport you to the streets of Southeast Asia through flavour combinations, Lucky Khao is the place to be! What’s more, this establishment aims to be one of not many restaurants in Brighton that are open till late.

Lucky Khao prides itself on sourcing ingredients from local farmers, ensuring freshness, and supporting the community. The menu doesn’t offer a huge variety, but it’s a great location for anyone with allergies as they have an easy-to-follow allergy guide. Dishes on the menu include mild and spicy options, and a unique feature of the restaurant is that you get to make your own ‘Thai wraps’.
