Under the careful curation of East London’s Mothership Group, Patterns Brighton injects a fresh burst of energy into one of Brighton’s most historical music venues creating an exciting hub for Brighton’s creative crowds.

The seafront club previously know as Audio and Escape Club has been re-born with a new name, refreshed style, space and new music policy. Expect great food and drink and even better music!
Food and drink takes on an important role in the clubs rejuvenation with an impressive drinks menu featuring a selection of local craft beers, international draught favourites and extensive range of spirits. Expect seasonally curated drinks menus including shrubs – a homemade fruit and spice based drink topped with alcohol and soda, and the fiery Mexican ‘beertail’ Micheladas, served in giant steins. When it comes to the food, Patterns teams up with Brighton legends Street Diner to bring the tastiest of treats from all corners of the globe!
The interior receives a new lease of life with a redesign playing on the building’s original art-deco style elements. A twist of Bauhaus design will run throughout the venues trio of spaces, with earthy tones, natural materials, red light, coloured glass and playful oversized convex mirrors.
Music is well and truly at the heart of the venue with the new interior reconstruction being well equipped to give music-lovers a superior listening experience; whether its acoustic live bands or hi-energy, underground DJ sets. The new basement space opens Thursday-Saturday and, staying true to the venue’s roots, will remain a hedonistic club space with huge investment made in a world-class sound system for a fully immersive party experience. Connecting the dots between future-facing electronic genres, Patterns will bring globally acclaimed DJs, promoters and live talent to the historic venue, not forgetting a carefully selected family of resident DJs.
Patterns is the ideal venue for everything from lazy weekend lunches on the sea-facing terrace, mid-week gigs and after work socialising in the bar, right through to after-hours revelry in the basement club. With a strong history of over three decades of legendary music from the likes of Daft Punk, The Stone Roses, The Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold, Patterns promises to continue the venues legacy as one of the most exciting clubs on the South Coast for new music and great club nights, be sure to check it out!
