One Garden Brighton

Leading in contemporary horticulture, One Garden Brighton is a historic walled garden, rediscovered, reinvented and managed by Plumpton College. The walled garden is open daily and free to the public. They nourish relationships with the community, recognising the importance and contribution of local producers, makers and growers.

They use their gardens, restaurant and market to promote learning through food, plants and the environment. At One Garden they teach modern horticulture, floristry and contemporary land-based education through a range of part time courses and workshops led by expert tutors from the college.

The newly built restaurant, One Kitchen, aims where possible to serve local, seasonal dishes with meat and wine produced by their students and prepared by their apprentices and chefs. They have a thriving calendar of events to showcase the beauty of the surroundings.

One Market is a busy and vibrant space where you will find something different every day. They proudly present the best produce and craft producers Brighton and Sussex has to offer. Local businesses are paramount to what they do. With their network of visitors, suppliers and teachers they celebrate the achievements of the people in our community. They love discovering local people with ideas to bring to the wonderful garden.
