Pottery Club – For Parents And Children In Brighton: Ages 5-15

Liberation Art Gallery is a gallery and art event space located in the Lanes in Brighton. If you’re looking for an exciting and-on experience for your child, this pottery workshop in Brighton is a great opportunity for children aged 5-10 and children aged 11-15 to try out pottery and put their creativity to use.

At the heart of the workshop is the chance for children to try their hand at the pottery wheel. Under the guidance of our skilled instructor, Vanessa (MA, CE, PDD Ceramics), children will learn the mesmerizing art of throwing on the pottery wheel. Each child will have the chance to create and take home their unique pottery creation. Alternatively, they offer the option to create handmade pinch bowls which results in a functional piece of art.

The workshop doesn’t stop at the pottery wheel. Children can also explore the sculpting area, where they’ll learn model-making skills using various tools. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to experiment with different techniques and create three-dimensional masterpieces.

The event lasts for 60 minutes from 10 am-11:30 am. Tickets are priced at £25 and parents can accompany their children free of charge. To ensure a mess-free and enjoyable experience, it is recommended you bring an old t-shirt for your child. Everything else is provided for the price of the ticket!
