Event to empower women during International Women’s Day in Brighton

You will get the opportunity to get your hands dirty and explore themes of body positivity and self-expression in a clay boob pots modelling workshop led by Becca from The Brighton Craft Club. You’ll reconnect with your body and rediscover your strength and grace with Embodying the Feminine Yoga + Movement Workshop led by Georgie Francesca. Later, join Clare Gribben from HOWL for a choir session and experience communal singing (no musical experience needed!).

During the day, talks from diverse women leaders will take place. Hear their stories, insights, and experiences on topics ranging from self-image to social change. The talks will be 10 minute shorts that pack a punch. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Toni Finnimore (The Social Society)
  • Alex Hathway (Writer & Performer)
  • Silvie Koanda (Sound Waves Foundation)
  • Tara Elie (Culture Change & Wellbeing Consultant)
  • Laura Phelan (Self Image Expert)
  • Alice Clover (The Farting Feminist – Author)

Throughout the day food will be available and you will get the chance to enjoy a delicious lunch and snacks provided by Boul Kitchen.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate womanhood, support a worthy cause, and connect with a community of women.
