Calling all horror and sci-fi enthusiasts! Tales In The Key Of Terror, an evening of captivating storytelling by the acclaimed author C.J. Carter-Stephenson, is coming to Brighton. This unique 60-minute event promises to be a thrilling journey into the dark and imaginative world of C.J.’s writing.
Taking place at two venues in Brighton, St Mary’s Church Hall and the Brighton Toy and Model Museum, this event is part of the Brighton Fringe and welcomes anyone aged 12 and over (parental guidance is recommended for younger audiences).
A Multi-Sensory Storytelling Experience
C.J. won’t simply read his stories – he’ll bring them to life! Through the use of an immersive soundscape and projected images, each tale will be transformed into a multi-sensory experience. Imagine the creak of floorboards in a haunted saloon, the chilling silence of deep space, or the terrifying shrieks of an unseen entity – all brought to life right before your eyes and ears.
The evening will feature two thrilling stories from C.J.’s repertoire:
- And Justice for One: A classic ghost story set in the Wild West. A gambler’s luck runs dry when a fatal mistake binds him to a vengeful spirit.
- Destination Earth: A chilling sci-fi tale reminiscent of Alien and Event Horizon. An astro-investigator ventures into the unknown to uncover the horrifying truth behind a missing mining ship.
