The Cauldron Brighton

The Cauldron in Brighton is a bar that serves beers, ciders, lagers, IPAs, cocktails, and more. Most cocktails on offer have some sort of magical aspect to them—think colour change and smoke!

You are more than welcome to visit this bar for a drink. However, The Cauldron goes beyond offering just drinks; they also have immersive potion-making experiences that bring fantasy to life through a fusion of mixology and technology! Currently, they have a few wizard-themed bars worldwide, with one in the heart of Brighton.

If you do end up booking an experience with them, upon arrival, you will be equipped with a robe and a technology-filled magic wand, which is key to everything you do during the experience, from pouring drinks to opening things and even interacting with the staff (you need to wave the wand above your head a few times for them to come over).

It all begins with the use of your wand and a pouring spell at their wall, which features magical animal heads, all serving different drinks. You will then proceed to your magical workstation, where you will have instructions on the steps you need to take to make your drinks.

Over the course of the 1 hour and 45-minute interactive experience, you’ll brew two molecular cocktails, each possessing unique properties and involving different procedures. The experience is self-guided but closely supervised by a potions master, and when booking tickets, you’re able to add additional cocktails to the experience!

The Cauldron offers a range of ticket options, including adult tickets for those aged 18 and above, student tickets at a discounted rate, and child tickets for those under 18. If you’re looking to host a larger group or private event (like a birthday party), the venue can accommodate gatherings of 14 or more with prior arrangements.
