The White Rabbit is a quirky little pub situated in the North Laine a little off the beaten track. The name is intriguing and so is the interior and the clientele, with a hint of grime, in a good way! It’s one of those pubs in which you can while away the hours just staring at the decor – one wall is covered with clocks, all set at different times. This pub truly stands as a testament to the area’s quirky and colourful spirit.
Step inside, and you’ll find an intimate space with items which will instantly catch your eye. Imagine an eclectic mix of artwork ranging from black and white portrait photos to a modern art take on Elvis.
All in all, it’s grimy and fun, a pleasant change from the sterility of many a modern drinking establishment. The pub’s garden, open daily from 12 pm to 11 pm, is a gorgeous retreat featuring a mural of the iconic white rabbit.
Like many pubs in the city, The White Rabbit offers some great food options including one of the best Sunday Roasts around. Their food is served by SINSHACK CO with Big Bites, Loaded plates and plenty of nibbles to choose from including burgers and mac and cheese.
The pub is open from 12 pm – 12 am daily except on Friday and Saturday the opening time extends until 1 am. Food is served daily from noon until late and times differ depending on the day.
Every week, the White Rabbit has fun events to attend, which are suitable for small or large groups of as many as 50 guests. These include pub quizzes, open mics and DJs every weekend. The White Rabbit’s dedication to providing an eclectic experience extends to themed parties and acoustic nights featuring up-and-coming bands from Brighton’s music scene.
