Having started trading back in 2008, Tom knows how to make a good sandwich. Previously he had a sandwich shop near Palmeira Square in Hove, but like many other businesses, in 2020 Tom had to close the doors to his business due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2023 was the year that felt right to start anew, this time a little off the beaten track. Offering locals tasty, affordable food and a lovely atmosphere is what Tom’s Sandwich Shop does best.
Their sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes and wintertime soups are delicious. There is also great coffee available, served in partnership with a local Lewes roaster, Tigermoth Roastery.
Being a dad, and appreciating time with his family, Tom found feeding the hungry workers during lunchtime works for him perfectly. Convenient for the nearby offices, passer-by’s as well as local people working from home, this is the cool yet traditional sandwich shop of your dreams.
In addition to their regular menu, there is a different special every week. Tom works with seasonal, local ingredients whenever he can to assure a sustainable and tasty approach. All of the sandwiches are made-to-order, which means you can customise your sandwiches as you please!
Their menu also caters vegans and vegetarians amazingly with a variety of options. You can also grab a packet of crisps and a cold drink while you’re there.
