The fun-loving Brighton is located on the southern coast of England. Thanks to its location on the beach, but also its proximity to London, it is a popular destination in England. The city comes alive with many restaurants, bars and events throughout the year. It is not for nothing that around 8 million tourists travel to Brighton every year to play casino games NZ. Here are a few good reasons why we recommend a language study trip to Brighton:

Our list for your study trip to Brighton

North Laine: Shopping in Brighton is most fun on the North Laine. The diversity of this area with its quirky, typically English details is simply delightful. For example, in the stores, you’ll find very special clothes that are really hard to find anywhere else in the world. The North Laine is a great place to stroll around and to end the day in one of the many cafés.

Brighton Wheel: Every great English city should have a Ferris wheel. The Brighton Wheel towers high above Brighton right on the beach. Here you can get an overview of the whole city. Listen to the voice of humourist Steve Coogan with information about Brighton while the wheel turns one round after the next.

The beach: Brighton is located directly on the water and offers you a seemingly never-ending sandy beach. There are lots of students here, creating a colourful and unique atmosphere. On weekends, the beaches are particularly well attended and it is not only peaceful here, but above all really friendly.

Nightlife: After sunset, many nightclubs are waiting for you. Brighton has the busiest music and club scene on the entire south coast. From bubblegum dance to Latin beats, you’ll find it all here. Brighton is known for its lively nightlife and it’s not for nothing that ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest right here.

Brighton Pier: A popular motif for photos is the Brighton Pier. Here you will find a small amusement park with roller coasters, carousels and a ghost train. The pier is a classic for every tourist who visits Brighton.

Brighton Festival: Every year in May Brighton turns into a paradise for culture and music lovers. At the Brighton Festival, there are all kinds of performances from theatre to circus to music and literature. Around 500,000 people flock to this world-renowned festival and some artists even open the doors to their own living rooms for their performances.

Brighton University: Besides the University of Brighton, the city is also home to the University of Sussex, one of the top 21 universities in England. No wonder Brighton is also mostly described as a student city. This can also be easily recognised in the cityscape.

Royal Pavilion: This small palace is definitely worth a visit. In 1787, the Pavilion was only intended as a secondary residence by the sea for George IV. Later, however, the building was further and further equipped, so that it became a beautiful palace. From Chinese and Indian wall paintings to extravagant interior design, here you will be amazed. Meanwhile, the Royal Pavilion belongs to the city of Brighton, which has done everything to let it shine in its original splendour.
