Wild Flour Pizza: Review

Do you love a good pizza? Then the award-winning Wild Flour Pizza is THE choice for you. Blending genuine passion with meticulous attention to detail, Wild Flour Pizza create the perfect recipe for some seriously stunning pizza. Expect seasonally changing menus, the very finest ingredients and the best garlic bread you’ve ever had.

The Venue:

Wild Flour Pizza is tucked away in the scenic grounds of Ovingdean in the Sussex countryside: a veritable haven from the hustle and bustle of city life. They do not offer table service at the moment, so you’ll need to either takeaway or order delivery to your door.

The Vibe:

The rural setting makes you feel like you’re enjoying a peaceful rural getaway, all while being just 15 minutes away from central Brighton! From the softly lit interior, to the fairy lit garden, every aspect of Wild Flour creates a warm, calm and inviting atmosphere.

Food-wise, their wood-fired pizzas, and the delectable toppings, are cooked to perfection in the biggest pizza oven in Brighton. Inspiration is taken from the very best cuisines all around the world, from the döner kebab to the Indian curry. Everything is made from scratch by the talented staff with love and dedication, and it truly shows.

The garlic bread is the perfect example of the harmonious blending of scientific precision and love for the art of food; the melted butter is infused to perfection with sumptuous garlic, and topped with delectable sea rosemary (picked by Chris’ mother!)

Another unforgettable standout was their renowned doughnut; made from their light and fluffy dough puffed and crisped in the oven, drizzled with warm Nutella and topped with pistachios and home-candied Seville orange.

The Verdict:

Award-winning for a reason, Wild Flour Pizza is categorically not to be missed. It is 10000% worth the visit for the life-changing garlic bread, the range of exquisite pizzas, the decadent doughnut and the friendly, warm and luxurious atmosphere. This establishment offers takeaway only.
