Celebrating World Pasta Day 2024 In Brighton: Our Picks

Possibly the best food in the entire world has to be the staple of Italian cuisine that we know as pasta – if I do say so myself! When asked what their favourite meal is, I find most people will always say pizza or pasta. With so many Italian and non-Italian restaurants, Brighton is a great place to celebrate World Pasta Day on the 25th of October 2024. Here are some of our favourite restaurants serving some of the best pasta in town.

Cin Cin

Located in Hove, this restaurant is a true gem and one of the best al-fresco Italian restaurants in Brighton. If you want to visit on World Pasta Day, they will be open from 5 pm to 11:30 pm. You can expect the best of the best from Cin Cin as they use seasonal Sussex produce, and in September 2018 they won a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

They offer a truly immersive experience, with counter seating allowing you to watch the chefs prepare the food. Vegan and gluten-free menu options are available too. Make sure to sign up for their newsletter for £10 off the bill!

And if you’re still hungry after you fine dine at this establishment, why not head home and order ‘Cin Cin’ at home, which offers a delivery of restaurant-quality Italian dishes to share at home? Delivery is FREE (minimum spend £25).

The menu features a range of pasta dishes, from spaghetti to ravioli to risotto and beyond, with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available. And make sure to try their homemade tiramisu during your visit—it’s a must!

They’re also a BYOB establishment with a corkage fee of £5 per bottle of wine & prosecco and £2 per bottle of beer, so make sure to bring your favourite beverage if you’d like.

Located on the bustling Preston Street, Casalingo is a family-run Italian restaurant serving up some of the best Italian dishes in the city. Owned by Angelo (who was born in Northern Italy) and his wife Geri, this restaurant has been serving food for the last 32 years. Casalingo is open every evening from 5 pm until late.

What I love about this restaurant is that it has a true Italian feel to it through the interior and the Italian waiters. With 23 pasta dishes to choose from with meat, fish, and vegetarian options available, this restaurant would be a great place to visit for some pasta on World Pasta Day.
