48hr Film Project Is Coming To Brighton!

Want a chance to create and screen your own film, connect with fellow creatives and upgrade your filmmaking career? Get involved with the 48-Hour Film Project, which is coming to Brighton!

The 48hr Film Project gives you an adrenaline-filled weekend in which you and your team make a film in 48hrs based on randomly assigned prompts. Each team receives a different genre prompt and the same prop, character and line of dialogue prompt to be included in their short film. It’s an amazing way to challenge and improve your filmmaking, acting, producing, editing and more skills!

The Filmmaking weekend for 2023 is 14-16 July. All 48hr films made this weekend will be screened at the Duke of York’s Picturehouse on July 31st 2023! There are a variety of prizes available for the 2023 winner, including a £500 Kit House Voucher, Mubi subscription and Picturehouse membership.

On top of that, the winner of Brighton 48hr Film will be screened at Filmapalooza 2024 in Sao Jorge Cinema, Lisbon & have the opportunity to be screened at Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner.
