Located just a stone’s throw from Palmeira Square, Hove, Cin Cin is an award-winning Italian neighbourhood restaurant serving modern Italian cuisine with seasonal local produce.

Their menu of seasonal small plates, handmade pasta dishes, and selection of aperitifs and wines sourced from Italy has previously led to them winning 4th place in Brighton’s Best Top 20 Restaurant Awards and a Michelin Bib Gourmand award.

The warm yet modern atmosphere features both rooms for private group dining events and counter-side seating to watch their team of chefs in action whipping up delicious Italian cuisine. On the 10th of March, Cin Cin will be hosting the first luxurious 4-course lunch in their regular Sunday series to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Expect a wide range of Italian food such as pork ragu arancini, lasagne Bianco, and wild garlic balanzoni to name a few with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. Finishing your meal off with a sumptuous dessert and aperitif, Cin Cin is a solid choice for Italian food lovers looking to treat mum to a special and satisfying meal. The Sunday series menu is available from 12.30 pm with the last sitting available at 4 pm so don’t forget to book!

Shelter Hall

Located right on the seafront, Shelter Hall’s food market is Brighton’s first and only food hall and features seven unique kitchens serving food from all corners of the Earth, two craft beer, wine and cocktail bars, and of course beautiful views.

Partnering with the best chefs from Sussex and beyond, Shelter Hall provides delicious new concepts from rotating kitchens offering a great combination of familiar and new dishes.

This Mother’s Day, Shelter Hall is putting on a full-day event consisting of a morning Pilates class, a beach stroll with a hot drink, and a roast dinner curated by their executive chef. Enjoy a 45-minute Pilates class with a Brighton-based instructor guaranteed to leave you feeling strong and revitalised.

Afterwards, you’ll cosy up with a complimentary hot drink from their cafe, relax in the hall or take it out with you for a walk along the beach. From noon Shelter Hall will be serving a special family-style sharing roast (meat or nut roast options available) with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings, roast veg, and cauliflower cheese.

However, if you have already planned the day and just need somewhere fun and lively to take Mum to for a meal later, you can also book for dinner only. The last sitting for Shelter Hall is 5 pm and comes with a drink of your choice.

Stanmer House – Afternoon tea
