Big Fish Little Fish- Rave for all ages returns to Brighton!

The Big Fish little Fish Family rave has been revived! Taking place in just a few days on October the 16th, at the North Laine Brewhouse. An exciting family event unlike any other, available in Brighton! This kid friendly club event is aimed at “ages 0-8” but also state all ages are welcome. There’s face painting, craft tables and play areas in addition to the dancefloor. The latter, featuring everything from bubbles, lights, all the way to a parachute dance. And of course, it couldn’t be a ‘rave’ without DJ Billy Nasty laying down the tunes as he drops a “set of club classics from acid house onwards!”.

This is not just a kids disco, there will be no Cha-Cha slide. The events website explains: “BFLF is designed to provide a family friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children’s party or disco. There is no kids music, nor games, nor DJ shout outs. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor – dancing together.”

The event this year is running with an optional pirate theme. If you or your children are so inclined, grab an eye patch, a cutlass and boogie down. Of course, with an event such as this comes lots of concerned questions, but rest assured, the music is kept to safe noise levels for kids, whilst still maintaining the ‘party’ atmosphere, and of course no adults are permitted without an accompanying child.

Whether a former raver that wants to share an old passion with your kids, or if your bambino has taken an interest in electronic music, It’s a great way to spend some time with your kids, without suffering an environment only catered for kids. You can book tickets for £8 per child and £11 per adult. But be quick! Sales end in 3 days on the 16th, so don’t delay and experience a child friendly activity that the adults can enjoy.
