Bewilder Box Escape Rooms In Brighton: Judgement D.A.V.E Review

Escape rooms in Brighton are popular, one of them (Bewilder Box) being hidden away inside one of your favourite pubs, The Brunswick. We have all heard about escape rooms by now, right? In case you haven’t, let me explain.

In the past few years, an increasing number of people started looking for immersive and interactive entertainment experiences. Escape rooms were the perfect solution. Normally they provide participants with opportunities to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and collaborate in a mission to break free from an interactive space within a set timeframe.

Step into the gripping world of Bewilder Box Initiative’s latest challenge, where The Masternet 9000, a rebellious artificial intelligence, has taken control. Dr. Wilder’s urgent directive takes you and your team deep into the heart of this cognitive training facility. Your mission: beat The Masternet’s escape before it’s too late! Here, saving humanity is achieved by unravelling puzzles and employing specialised equipment, all within a tight 60-minute window.

what makes this Escape Room special?

This immersive experience blends unique brain-teasing conundrums with a lighthearted and comedic tone, offering a true challenge alongside rib-tickling humour. As featured in publications such as The Independent and The Guardian, this escape room offers adjustable difficulty levels, catering to both newbies and seasoned escapists.

An absolutely brilliant live, in-house actor guides your journey, bringing life into the narrative, while the voice of Norman Lovett, famed as Red Dwarf’s Holly, takes on The Masternet 9000. Hidden above a fully licensed bar within one of Brighton’s favourite pubs, participants can bring their drinks into the game and enjoy a post-challenge meal on-site. To memorialise the adventure you have just gone through, a free team photo is what tops off this experience.

My friends and I had the best time solving puzzles and putting in true teamwork! I for one genuinely forgot where I was there for almost 60 minutes, being so immersed in the challenge. I would recommend this escape room and any of the other Bewilder Box escape rooms for anyone living in or visiting Brighton, no matter if you are a novice or have more experience in escape rooms. This experience would be perfect for a friend group bonding evening out in Brighton, or a team-building exercise for a group of colleagues.

Intriguing, hilarious, and sure to make your adrenaline pump, Bewilder Box’s Judgement D.A.V.E. escape room promises an unforgettable blend of entertainment and mental strength, perfect for everyone seeking a bit of excitement and fun. Roosa Herranen

From the moment she arrived in Brighton, Roosa knew this was the place to be. Her love of arts and culture, seaside living and inclusivity meant the city felt like home. When she’s not walking around town and admiring the sights, and the waves and the quirky little shops, she’s writing and creating. Originally being from Finland, there are things about Brighton & Hove that still surprise her - in the best possible way of course! After nine years in England and five of those in Brighton, she couldn’t imagine living anywhere else than here.
