Established in 1910 and named Britain’s oldest cinema, Duke of York’s Picturehouse was voted best cinema in the UK in 2012. The iconic striped legs on the roof remind everybody that it’s the most vibrant of heritage buildings. Duke’s at Komedia, in the trendy North Laine area is Duke of York’s sister venue.
